We recognise our responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and other relevant legislation, and we aim to provide a safe working environment in all areas of our operations.

This policy applies to:

  • All locations where work is carried out on behalf of BookMyAdvert.com, including offices, client sites, and remote/home working environments.

 

3. Responsibilities

  • Management is responsible for implementing this policy, carrying out risk assessments, and ensuring safe systems of work are in place.
  • Employees and contractors must take reasonable care of their own health and safety, as well as that of others, and follow all safety instructions and procedures.
  • Everyone is encouraged to report hazards, accidents or near misses promptly so that corrective action can be taken.

 

4. Working Practices

We are committed to ensuring that:

  • Workstations are assessed to minimise risks related to display screen equipment (DSE).
  • Adequate breaks are encouraged to prevent fatigue and strain.
  • Remote and home working environments are risk-assessed where appropriate.
  • Safe working practices are applied when travelling to meetings or client sites.
  • Mental health and wellbeing are treated as part of overall health and safety.

 

5. Training & Awareness

  • Employees will receive appropriate health and safety information and training relevant to their role.
  • Awareness of ergonomics, safe computer use, and stress management will be promoted.

 

6. Emergency Procedures

  • In office environments, fire safety and first aid arrangements will be maintained and clearly communicated.
  • Remote workers should familiarise themselves with emergency procedures relevant to their location.

 

7. Monitoring & Review

  • Risk assessments will be conducted regularly and updated as necessary.
  • This policy will be reviewed annually or in response to significant changes in operations or legislation.
